Black Sunflower Seed

Black sunflower seeds are a great all year-round feed, and are often more popular to birds than peanuts. The black sunflower seeds have a higher oil content than striped ones and therefore are better for attracting a bigger variety of birds. Seeds help to reduce waste and have ease of handling.

Parakeet Seed

It is important that a Parakeets diet consists of Parakeet seeds, it is healthy and full of nutrition to help the birds playfulness. It can be used all year round as part of a daily diet. Birds tend to take the seed out of it’s shell as they love exploring their food, the shells then need to be removed.

Wild Bird Peanuts

Peanuts are rich in fat and are liked by tits, house sparrows, greenfinches, great spotted woodpecker and siskin's. We recommend the peanuts to be fed out of a metal bird feeder, to encourage smaller birds to feed. We source our peanuts from a reliable source reducing the alflo toxin risk associated with peanuts.

Tips....

Feed should be changed regularly and stored correctly to help prevent the food becoming mouldy and contaminated.

Feeding in the winter is more beneficial to wild-birds but food shortages can occur at any time of the year, feeding all year round will give the birds a better chance of survival.

There is a variety of Bird Feeders, Bird Tables and Bird Houses available of our Pet Food Superstores. Some feeds are easier to eat on different feeders. Seeds are better enjoyed from a metal feeder.
